Favorite Resources

Here are some of the resources that I think are extremely helpful and use in my own career planning:

Online Resources
Askamanager.org: Blog that features a look at the job search/ day-to-day etiquette from the perspective of a manager. This is a must read.

Corporette.com: Blog that talks about fashion and the workplace.  This resource also offers information on where the best sales are to get great professional pieces.

What Not to Wear: Short videos from TLC's Stacy London and Clinton Kelly that provide great advice for looking put together. Period.

Vault Career Intelligence: Great website to research industries, see job postings and so much more.  Check out this site before a career fair or job interview

University career center: These people are paid to help students learn about the professional world. Why not take advantage of this service!

Mentors: They have experience and you want to learn from them. This is the best resource a person could have.
